Day-by-Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Skardu
Fly from Islamabad to Skardu. Gear check and final trek briefings.
Day 2: Preparation in Skardu
Logistics finalization and acclimatization walks in the Skardu valley.
Day 3: Drive to Askole
Full day 4x4 jeep ride to Askole, the last village before the deep wilderness.
Day 4: Trek to Jhula
Begin the trek along the Braldu river towards the Jhula campsite.
Day 5: Trek to Paiju
Trek to the famous Paiju campsite with first views of the Baltoro Glacier.
Day 6: Acclimatization in Paiju
A day of rest and preparation for the glacier crossing.
Day 7: Trek to Khuburse
First day on the Baltoro glacier. Camp with views of the Trango Towers.
Day 8: Trek to Urdukas
Short but steep trek to the grassy slopes of Urdukas.
Day 9: Trek to Goro II
A long walk on the icy heart of the Baltoro towards Goro II.
Day 10: Concordia
Arrival at Concordia, the 'Throne Room of the Mountain Gods'. Surrounded by 8000m peaks.
Day 11: K2 Base Camp Excursion
Day trip to the base of K2 (5100m) and the Gilkey Memorial.
Day 12: Ali Camp
Trek towards the base of the Gondogoro Pass to Ali Camp.
Day 13: Gondogoro La Crossing
A 2 AM start to cross the 5700m pass. Incredible views of the 4 eight-thousanders.
Day 14: Trek to Saicho
Descent through the beautiful 'Field of Flowers' to Saicho camp.
Day 15: Return to Hushe & Skardu
Final trek to Hushe and drive back to the luxury of a hotel in Skardu.
Day 16: Fly to Islamabad
Morning flight to Islamabad or drive via the KKH.
Day 17: Farewell
Transfer to airport for international departure.
